I wiped off my last table for the night and walked to the employee area of the restaurant. I quickly changed into my regular clothes and pulled my hair into a messy bun as I started grabbing my stuff. My mind was so preoccupied with Cas and some decisions I needed to make, that I didn’t hear Tammy come into the room. I nearly jumped out of my skin.

“Shit, you scared me.” I put my hand to my heart and chuckled a little.

She laughed. “Sorry. Are you going to The House of Blues tonight?”

I shook my head. “No, I’m Skyping with my brothers. Besides, I’m not that into music.” I gave her a small smile.

“You’re not into Twelfth Jaded? What century are you from, Kara?” She shook her head and chuckled. “You should come. It’ll be fun! Skype with your brothers then come with me and the girls. I’ll buy you a drink.”
